Difference between parked document and held document?

Parked document:

1. The document number is given by the system automatically according to the document type.

2. Parked document is available for editing for all users depending on the authorizations in the system

Held document:

        1.     The document number is given by the User (user has to give any number to the document) 

            2.   Document is available for editing only the particular user only. That means who created the document the user only edit, delete the document.
